Ran into our first interesting issue with linkedin. Someone posted about our conference and how they were not goint to attend. They said they knew another linkedin group on the topic that they were interested in. I looked up the group and noticed that they had created the group and there were five members.
This shows the importance of watching your brand on the internet and what people are doing and saying about you. Not sure what to do about this yet. Hope that staff will address this and post all the great sessions on the topic that will be at the conference. Trying to get the staff involved in social media but it is a hard thing to sell. No one has the time but I worry that by not making the time they will be left behind…..
